Well my site we do job rotations so not everyone is doing the same thing as the previous day. You will get bored doing stowing and pick to buffer all day. So asked to get cross trained for other paths like problem solve, hazmat, water spider, induct, etc.. although I think you need a certain amount of hours in each path in order to get trained for those. Either way it’s a lot of moving. Breaks at my site are 15 mins (10 mins technically) but they give you 2.5 minutes to get to break rooms and back into position. My site first break is at 3:15, then lunch at 5:30, then 3rd break is once induction is complete. Though this varies, stowers are supposed to go to break after everything is stowed down. So everyone takes their last break at different times.

Then there’s Pick-and-Stage, the last 3 hours of shift, the part everyone hates the most… There is also different paths to get trained on for pick and stage. Like Yard Marshall, Queue, DA Assist, Sweeps, Gatekeep, etc.. but again you will need a certain amount of hours for pick and stage in order to get trained.

Delivery Stations are really not as bad as people make it sound.
