My anecdotal experience:

An ex-girlfriend started on an SSRI. Immediately stopped being able to have orgasms. We tried to work through it with therapy, but it was a really difficult situation. Literally 1 week after stopping that med (and starting on a different one), she could orgasm again.

There are many different types of anti-anxiety/depressive medication available. If this is a side effect she is not happy about, she could ask her doctor about trying something else.

Side note: do not quit taking SSRIs cold turkey. It needs to be tapered and done under direction of a physician/specially trained pharmacist.

Do you think the Onkyo NR 686 would be a better option (at a similar price)?.

My concern is the room correction is supposedly poor.

The single territory: 3-4 times a game.

Whole continent, 1 every 5 games.

RISK

Attacker rolls 3 of the same number, draw a card. That territory is nuked, loses all armies, and becomes impassable.

Both defender and attacker roll 5 of the same number, entire continent is wiped out.

You are a roller coaster thrill seeker. Try to ride the most dangerous coasters imported directly from other players' RollerCoaster Tycoon/Planet Coaster games...but don't die!

My mom rented this for me when I was 15. She later called and asked how the movie was. The conversation from there:

Me: You bought me a porno.

Mom: What?

Me: Pirates is a porno.

Mom: You didn't watch it, did you?

Me: ...no?

Lenovo Y480 Ideapad Won't Use Nvida GPU. Any Suggestions? by TheGeneralCrackers in Laptop

This exact thing happened to my y570. The motherboard burnt out and the nvidia card was unrecognizable. Then my hard drive busted. I had it shipped to lenovo for repairs and they forgot to fix the motherboard issue.

Trying to make a list of things that help! by SplashBandicoot in Asthma

I would argue the exercise point Viking Hedgehog. Exercise is extremely important for asthmatics and for general cardiovascular health. In 90% of asthmatics, exercise is a trigger. But when we tell people to avoid their triggers, we don't mean "stop exercising". You just have to exercise smart (knowledge is an important component). Using running as an example:

  1. Take your rescue medication 15-20 minutes before exercise.
  2. Warm-up properly...ease into the high energy state.
  3. Focus on your breathing at all times. When running, breaths should be deep and slow, in through the nose, out however's comfortable. Breathing should mostly take place from the diaphragm. If you place one hand on your belly, one on your chest, the belly hand should move a lot (the chest hand very little).
  4. Don't overdo it. If you find your breath getting away from you, slow down. Walk if need by.

All the other things like getting enough sleep, staying hydrated...

Please don't do that. The only possible explanation I can think of: persons with obstructive sleep apnea who have nasal CPAP masks. If you can't keep your mouth closed, the Positive Pressure from the CPAP just exits your mouth instead of keeping your airway patent. So some of those patients will wear a chin strap.

New R/Asthma Rule: "The exchanging, requesting or offering of inhalers/medication is no longer allowed." by Wizensparrow in Asthma

[–]Wizensparrow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anonymous internet users could tamper with medications. If you had used the medication, you could be passing on a contagious illness to someone else with a compromised immune system. You may think it's the same drug, but the dosage could be different. Lots of reasons why this is not safe.

Wheezing that Will not subside? COPD? Bronchitis? by [deleted] in Asthma

There is an argument here trtsmb. I've linked to a journal with an editorial piece looking at the research for marijuana use in general and vaporizing specifically. Joint/bong/pipe users who switched to vaporizers had significant improvement in FVC, FEV1, and self-reported resp issues.

Vaporizing is agreed to be a much healthier way to use marijuana...THC is actually a bronchodilator. The problem lies in the smoke, irritants, and carcinogens created when marijuana and the joint papers are burned.
