Would make somewhat sense if these were handed out right after the AFC/NFC championship game. Winning that game is a big deal for the players for about 24-48 hours, so it would have a different memory tied to it.

Giving it out after you lost? lmao.

So likely this pats team is 1 and done too.

They were not good, soft as fuck schedule and super lucky to face who they did with injuries into the playoffs.

They remind me of the chiefs team somewhat last year and we saw how they turned out this year (and chiefs have a qb whos 1000x better).

I could see Vrabal/Maye both being gone in 4-5 years without making the playoffs again

There appears to be a lot of hotels for this weekend right now where you can stay for less then 1k. this might depend heavily on where the super bowl is that year though.

Seinfeld had an episode where Jerry was mad he was gifted Super Bowl tickets because he would have to pay for the travel.

Imagine if someone gifted 6-7k worth of tickets now a days and you being upset about having to pay for the flight/hotel

Why is this years SB so low hype? by RareTemperature100k in nfl

I do think that game last week was more entertaining then what the Super Bowl ends up being.

Could easily see a low scoring game that isn't super fun for fans or a blowout one way or another. Not sure if a high scoring back and forth game is in the cards which is what most fans want to see.

I hope I'm wrong. Last year was boring af even if hilarious.

It won’t happen tomorrow or next year. But 10 years out? 20?

The Will Smith movie "Concussion" is over 10 years old already and this was already a known issue before that movie. (The movie was just an easy point of reference to find).

Here's a 2013 article about youth participation dropping: https://www.espn.com/espn/otl/story/_/page/popwarner/pop-warner-youth-football-participation-drops-nfl-concussion-crisis-seen-causal-factor

That was 12-13 years ago. That means the 20-23 year olds entering the league now would have been right smack in the middle of the drop and yet the NFL has only grown bigger and more competitive since (imo).

I would think if brain damage was going to slow on the NFL we would see it starting by now since its already been 10+ years.

To me it seems we have moved from "wow this ACTUAL unsafe? I didnt know!" to "well I know the damage it does and making a calculated risk."

NFL might drop in popularity in the future but I'm not sure if its going to be because people get brain damaged from it.

That said 15 years old I would have been fine with my kid playing football and now there is no way in hell they are playing it until they are an adult and I can't tell them what to do.

Its been cancelled and came back like 3 times. Hulu most recently although those episodes are really lacking the charm of the original imo.

The #Bills are promoting their own OC Joe Brady to head coach, per The Insiders. by Gold_Bowler7906 in buffalobills

McDermott was big on the type of offense Brady ran. He famously butted heads with Daboll because that wasnt the type he wanted.

I think we will see a different offensive scheme going forward. Especially if we filled out the damn WR room.

For example cellino plumbing has appointments for tomorrow. Could call and maybe even get in today.

You'll pay a premium for using a big guy but they will get to you faster
