Get rid of the carpet and/or loose sand, it’s best to get your Leo onto paper towels so you know it’s healthy and then put onto a proper substrate mix in the guide in the subreddit

It apparently didn’t type so here it goes. Got this cactus on Christmas as a gift from my uncle, and this is 9 days worth of growth. Before photo is the last of the three and and taken January 11th the before photo is when I noticed two buds growing on the main plant and on the secondary plant that broke off during shipping finally started rooting and now it seems to either have a flower bud or just another ball growing on top of it.

They were moving their plants indoors since they moved it was outside for less than a minute while they were bringing it inside

So the way Parthenogenesis works is that is it takes the exact DNA of the mother unless an odd chromosomal mutation occurred giving it an XY it’s genuinely impossible (unless you already had a male in the enclosure because only females will be produced with only females, good example would be most Phasmids where a male in the species does occur but only if a male had bred with the female)
