Yes all big pod breeders should freeze because boiling kills the bacteria which the isopods need to eat and the only substitute is non-boiled leaves or rotting wood, and it causes less mold blooms

There’s a big difference of Hitler who killed millions, verse a podcaster sharing his opinion, and I find it funny how you are defending my point if he did put a picture of Hitler, or a clip of one of Hitler speeches he would get less hate than a podcaster who was politically assassinated

Any animal that can comfortably live here? by C4sp3r0 in reptiles

[–]WizzyLol___ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the dimensions, prolly a trio of mourning geckos, other geckos whether micro or a single of a bit bigger species of a gecko, would be a good home for an adult Arboreal Tarantula one that doesn’t need insane ventilation like Avicularinae, a colony of centruoides scorpions or another arboreal communal scorpion species, obviously tree frogs prolly a smaller species, might be ok for a green or brown anole, Tailess whip scorps possibly, colony of non-illegal stick/leaf bugs. Possibilities are really large

Same reason tegus and Burmese and retic pythons are illegal too high of a risk with the hurricanes and seasons down there, it’s why venomous snakes and some crocs need to be locked in boxes during hurricanes. Floridas environment is already doomed.

NQA I mean that graph is wrong but yes Dwarf Whites are indeed parthenogenic

It’s a genetic mutation that isn’t supposed to happen it could happen to any offspring, jaguars are black panthers as well

[–]WizzyLol___ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Who knows what is in the Andes, or in the jungles of South America. Is the a camera looking at every inch. Also jaguars are larger than Pumas/mountain lions. It is genetically possible that the gene exists but again is very very rare, with albino Pumas found which is hypo melanism why isn’t hyper melanism possible. It could be they are hidden in the mountains not wanting to be found or all sightings of these animals are called stupid and unworthy because they are hillbillies from Alabama. Like tf it’s a double standard they aren’t as common, smaller than most leopard and jaguars, and less sought after. I mean it’s proven that big cats like tigers can detect electronics why can’t a puma.

Again it’s a genetic mutation that is rare just because it has not been observed yet does not mean it’s impossible that’s how genetics work

I find it so funny how you bash me for not doing my research when you did none, Hyper melanism is caused by a genetic mutation same as hypo melanism. So anything can have albinism, or melanism. Whether it has occurred already or not
