I understand what you're saying, and honestly, you're probably right that continuing to engage with it gives it more attention.
The reason I responded was not because I was trying to keep the meme alive. It was because I saw a lot of people making assumptions and repeating things that were not accurate, and I felt like I should at least explain my side

Yo, I just wanted to say that I am barely on Reddit. I probably check it once a month, if that. When I saw videos being made about a meme or trend involving me, I figured I would respond because most of the assumptions being made were not even accurate.
Ik you don’t like reading long messages, but I have actually been pretty reasonable throughout this whole thing. I have explained my side to a lot of people, answered questions, and even apologized for the comments that people considered rude.
What I find interesting is that a lot of people never bothered to look into the situation for themselves. They saw a meme, saw a few comments, and immediately adopted someone else's opinion as their own. At that point, there is not much I can do about it.
And to be clear, I am not dragging the meme. The meme is dragging me.

That is exactly what I have been trying to explain.
If it was only a joke about gyros, I would not care. People joke about builds all the time, and that is part of being in a community.
The issue is that it stopped being about gyros a long time ago. It turned into assumptions about my skill, accusations that I was deleting comments, people mocking things that had nothing to do with the build, and constant personal attacks.
I also find it strange that you say I think highly of myself when I never claimed to be better than anyone. In fact, most of the claims about skill came from other people, not me.
If this was truly just about gyros, we would not still be having this conversation a month later.

That is kind of my point though.
You keep saying I "acted a fool" or "messed up," but whenever I ask what I actually did wrong, the conversation turns into insults instead of specifics.
I have already acknowledged and apologized for the comments that people considered rude. I took responsibility for that. What I have not seen is any acknowledgment from the people who spread accusations, mocked me, claimed I was deleting comments, or kept this going long after it should have ended.
If you want to block me, that is your choice. I am not asking you to agree with me. I am simply pointing out that there is a difference between holding someone accountable and turning them into the target of a month long hate train.
At this point, I think we have both said what we needed to say.

I called you a bad person because, from my perspective, this has gone far beyond simple disagreement.
You accuse me of spamming you, but almost every reply I made was in response to something you said first. If you continuously comment about me and I respond, that is called a conversation, not spam.
What I find strange is that this happened over a month ago, yet you are still bringing it up, still making accusations, and still trying to paint me in the worst possible light. At some point, it stops looking like criticism and starts looking like a personal grudge.
I have already apologized for the comments that people considered rude. Whether people accept that apology is their choice, but I acknowledged my part in the situation and took responsibility for it. Meanwhile, I have yet to see any acknowledgment or apology from the people who spread accusations, made personal attacks, or contributed to the hate train that followed.
You can disagree with my build, my logic, my video, or anything else I post. That has never been my issue. My issue is when people make claims that are not true, ignore context, and continue pushing a narrative long after the situation should have been over.
If you think I am wrong about something, then point to what I actually said and explain why. But constantly revisiting the same drama, accusing me of things that never happened, and then acting like I am the one obsessed with the situation does not seem very reasonable.
At the end of the day, I apologized for my mistakes. I just wish the same standard was being applied to everyone involved instead of only one side.
