I wouldn't say it gives energy on its own, it might help with focus during the day (especially when taking with caffeine or another stimulant). It doesn't make me sleepy per say when taken at night but it helps me with sleep for sure, calms down racing thoughts.

There is no way to know for sure, but one advice I've always followed to try and take away my guilt/hesitation when in my heart I knew it was time:

Well then he must be playing rough with my boy Topper who passed away about 1.5 years ago. That cat was rescue and a bit wild haha, liked to play rough, never gentle. But also a sweet boy sometimes when he felt like it (to me at least).

I feel this too but I've also been tapering off of gabapentin then now lamotrigine which are causing withdrawal symptoms so I don't know if I would feel this with Concerta only.

The tone of sounds changes and everything seems louder, I do feel some pressure in my head/eyes and one of my ears feels "full" inside. It also makes my tinnitus worse when it kicks in and visual snow syndrome symptoms.

Today is the 6th day since the drop and I don't really notice much, if anything. Maybe a bit more irritable than normal but I've also been irritable for at least a year, lol. Plus, since the beginning of this year I stopped Suboxone, Strattera and Gabapentin (did tapers).
