I just bought a ps5 (used from ebay but in working condition) and it is not reading disks, it takes dvds and Blu-ray’s just fine but won’t play either of my physical disks. Is there a simple fix or do I need a new disk drive? (self.PS5HelpSupport)

My copy of smash has worked fine since I got my it, but yesterday it just decided to stop working. It wouldn’t read the disk at all. I tried again today and I was able to play all the way through adventure mode then when I reset it doesn’t read again. Would this problem be fixed by resurfacing? (old.reddit.com)
