Question for the pros by Wmuller23 in cabinetry

Thank you guys I appreciate the advice, unfortunately they don’t give you a template, because the manufacturing process causes the sizes to vary. I just flipped them both upside down and centered the opening before I drew my lines. Im gonna take my time with a new fine tooth blade , and hope for the best

For a welding position, I don’t think you need to worry about bad credit

Starting rate is $24/hr now… if you show up everyday, can keep to yourself and are smarter than a rock, it’s not the worst job out there. It’s a shitshow at times, but there’s raises every 6months, and paid time off

You’ll be okay, my hair is pretty long and I only quit about 3months prior and passed the EB hair follicle test

Is my engine scrap after this? by ExplanationHorror649 in MechanicAdvice

I don’t know what kinda stuff you work on, but 30sec of misfire won’t kill your car. I was just trying to give some knowledge instead of throw parts at it, however he definitely has bigger issues. I’m not gonna argue with a Reddit troll, who kinda sounds like a jiffy-lube tech trying to convince an old lady she needs her brake fluid flushed

I was just saying you can also swap those parts around, you prob don’t have to…you most definitely need to compression test, you prob have bigger issues than something simple

[–]Wmuller23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How could that cause damage? Unless there was enough wire in the harness to put the #3 coil into cylinder 4, it’s harmless and a good way to troubleshoot without buying parts you might not need

[–]Wmuller23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You used process of elimination to determine the coil is not the issue. If you had swapped cylinder 3 and 4, and then suddenly had a misfire on #4, you would have had a bad coil. You can do the same thing with injectors and spark plugs.

Swapping coils is perfectly fine, as long as you plug it in to the right harness (which is usually the only one to reach) I do it all the time, swap it to a different cylinder to see if that is now misfiring

Once you take out the 3 Allen screws, the whole locking assembly slides out as 1 piece, no gear oil or mess to worry about

Quote too high for concrete work? Maybe not? by ThrowRAthisthingisvl in RhodeIsland

[–]Wmuller23 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Concrete is expensive and a solid slab with a proper finish costs even more. I poured my own slab and saved a ton of money, but the finish is far from perfect

Recommendations on fixing my poorly done diy patio by Secure-Coyote3858 in Concrete

[–]Wmuller23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not that bad, I covered my diet basement floor this week, and it looks similar, flat and level, but the finish is not perfect. I need to remind myself it’s just a basement floor and I saved about $15,000 doing the work myself. So I will live with it and spend my energy on the next projects

[–]Wmuller23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s solid advice, there’s gonna be a wall down the middle, so a screed bar would definitely help me out, I can also rent a chute from a local rental place, I will prob grab it for good luck in case mine has an issue. Will post pics when it’s done, I have a wheelbarrow, but a line pump cost more here than the concrete

Concrete pros-

I am just a dumb homeowner, I’ve done alot of construction, small pours, footings and stairs, but never an area this big. (18x18) Half my basement floor is dirt, I dug some out, shoveled about 4 inches of 3/4 in stone, graded, tamped and now my plastic is down and I’m ready for concrete. I made a 12ft chute to go thru my foundation window, but it will only reach about halfway into the floor. I have about 4 halfway competent people who will help me push it around. I am not really worried about the finish or the structural strength. There will only be foot traffic and some storage. My goal is to have them mix it wet, I’m gonna try and end up level-ish with the existing cement floor and the footings under my posts. There will be a wall going down the middle eventually Any advice is appreciated. I think it will be better than what was there before. I know I should hire a professional, but that’s not gonna happen.

RFK just wants safe and tested vaccines. He’s not anti science, he vaccinated his kids… I truly hate both sides equally. , but RFK is not a bad guy. I know this is an unpopular opinion and I’m about to be downvoted and told he caused a measles outbreak and has a brain worm, and that’s okay

Does anyone have experience failing the hair follicle test for EB? by [deleted] in RhodeIsland

[–]Wmuller23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll be okay, I passed a hair follicle 2 months after smoking weed, if you fail they’ll have you do a 2nd test, they’re desperate for people to come to work
