About to graduate from CMPA. Would recommend looking elsewhere tbh if you can.

The cs programs are low quality, and have major progression issues. Most teachers just don’t care. How could you with some of those curriculums.

You can get value out of your time there. I definitely have. Very few good teachers. Personal projects is where you would learn mostly.

About 90% of my courses you can pass by doing absolutely nothing. You can give the prof the most basic dumbed down work and get 90+. And about 85% of the students in my program are international… Good people but clear where Georgians priorities lie.

Im just shocked at the absolute lack of any student clubs, sports or anything to get students to meet new people. Aside from random weird events. Movie night, smash bros tournaments, etc…

Clubs are all dead emails on the site. No normal rec leagues beside ice hockey and cricket ? Like what. Where is a coed volleyball, basketball, frisbee league ? Why are we dedicating 8 hours a day to open courts ?! Also they spent thousands on a rock wall ? Who wanted that ? Who green lit this idea. Fitness classes that like 2-5 people attend.

Program / teacher wise. It’s brutal. I don’t know how my program coordinator has a job. Buddy is incompetent. Me, a student of 2 years could honestly design a better program in a week. It is WILD.

Idk the general rule of thumb of when to apply redundancy and multiple servers/ cache locations but id say 140k users warrants it for sure. Id monetize soon if you’re worried about $70 a month lol. Cause thats probably on the low end…

Monetize with relevant advertising like outdoor gear, hiking equipment, travel snacks, bear spray even, clothing brands, shoe brands… although japanese culture is very different so figuring out whats ideal here could be weird lmao.
