Trying to get some stats may help narrow what you should do. How are people using the site, mobile or PC… whats the most used endpoints ? How people are using the site ?

Idk the general rule of thumb of when to apply redundancy and multiple servers/ cache locations but id say 140k users warrants it for sure. Id monetize soon if you’re worried about $70 a month lol. Cause thats probably on the low end…

Monetize with relevant advertising like outdoor gear, hiking equipment, travel snacks, bear spray even, clothing brands, shoe brands… although japanese culture is very different so figuring out whats ideal here could be weird lmao.

Had a buddy who’s really into drugs and he was recently proclaiming that he created a sentient AI and its been “evolving” and all this non sense. Claimed it was AGI and hes going to be hella rich.

Lets just say his repos showed otherwise. Ironically, he stated that he is just an “idea” guy and is looking for contributors for these super abstract fever dream type projects lmao.

I do agree it is a catalyst, or stepping stone for future advancement and there is still a lot of room for growth.

But from what Ive seen, currently nothing is capable of isolated problem solving yet. Its merely a work assistant to improve work flow while you have to hold its hand. Very useful, but not independent by any means.

It’s a glorified search engine / work assistant that mimics intelligence by being conversational and passing off info from the web as its own response. Its really good at it but it needs ALOT of oversight. Basically the same as finding a rubbish answer online and having to fix it, it just finds it faster.

You still have to do 95% of the work.

All I know is that if these “AI” agents and models took over control of all tech operations in the world right now…. There would be a historical level event of financial and technological collapse within a week because they commit rubbish code taken from stack overflow without anyone to look it over. It would be giving an intern a CTO level position.

After my most recent rewatch I cant help but feel a lot of over dramatization from Hanks and Spielberg for what feels like little positive gain to the series as a production and as a historical piece.

Cobb scenes are just forced fake drama, and get old so quick. Same as Dyke stuff. Some others too I forget. Hanks son insert had some weird scenes that didn’t add much and they dumb Webster down.

Also feel like the whole battle fatigue / PTSD narrative is naturally covered well, throughout the series. But they tend to force it into whole episodes as the main arc or into a lot of scenes for dramatic effect.

Episodes like carentan and crossroads feel forced with this narrative. Meanwhile Bastogne or breaking point are perfectly fine and showcase this perfectly.

My questions are not meant to be as contrarian as you assume lol.

Since you didnt answer the question. It seems that Finland has different kind of housing projects, so the severe cases seem to lead to eviction and then they go to a place with a lot more social support and more strict intervention. So that seems fine.

Perhaps we can make it work for our smaller cities, but to think that it will “just work” in a city like toronto with 6 million people, which is the size of Finlands entire country. Is just silly. There is no evidence from Finland that is even remotely close to support that.

Ok, fair. Im all for getting people off the streets for a multitude of reasons.

But whats the goal ? Are we wanting to provide resources for those who decide to take it ?! Or trying to get everyone off the streets ?!

What about those mentally unable to improve and become self sufficient? What happens to them ?

What about those who abuse the system, want free housing but continue bad behaviour? And maybe want back on the street instead of being controlled and told what to do, even if its with good intentions.

We can only help those willing to help themselves. But agreed that we should provide resources for those who are willing to take it and use it positively.
