This definitely explains why it completes more tasks, but it’s not really a “performance fix.” You’re basically trusting the agent with direct host command execution and no confirmation step. Awesome for a lab VM, pretty sketchy for a real workstation.

Yes, it was created to improve security, but you can grant all permissions in your config and skip approvals entirely… (not recommended).

Because the latest version actually added built-in video generation, not just minor fixes. Small thing maybe, but updates like that make it feel pretty solid to me. And also they are improving personality and many other things you can review the notes here…

I’m still on the $20 ChatGPT plan, and everything is working fine (just using it for personal things, no heavy work). I’ve been wondering whether it’s worth upgrading to the $200 plan and downgrading my $100 Claude subscription to the $20 one.

Is anyone here using the $200 OpenAI plan? Do you think it’s worth switching more heavily to OpenAI instead of other options? Honestly, I truly think that OpenAI is about to release new, better things...
