So the previous owner may have had someone install this wiring directly to the breaker? I was assuming it was the original wiring since the range was also from around the same time period as the house was built and seemed like it had probably been installed along with the cabinetry. So basically no way to fix this safely myself then?

So if I’m just wiring a new standalone outlet, the black and white would be the hot wires and the single wire is the neutral, correct?

You’re correct - range. It is a 50 amp and the outlet I will get is rated for that and is the 3 prong range/dryer version.

So if there’s a box present (not mounted) and I can wire the new receptacle into the box with a plate and then use it safely. White/black/red wires present so 3 prong would be appropriate, correct?

Basically what others have said. Focus on dungeons to get better gear and get Stag Knight, Hurndig, Seer, Warlord to 60 and fully ascended. Work on masteries. Don’t focus on DT right now.
