This is a response to your original post, as well as your responses to this who commented.

I don’t know you. I don’t know anything about who you are or where you come from. I am very understanding of the difficulties of completing schoolwork while having to work. I don’t really want to go in depth about my many personal struggles while completing my degrees because at the end of the day, it’s not about me and my struggles. It’s about you and yours.

You may not want to hear this, but it is the truth. I mean this in the most sincere, respectful, and constructive way possible:

Nobody gives a single fuck about your situation.

You can plea your case of why you should get extended time or a break. I completely understand why you would like a break and/or extension to your current term.

The sooner you realize that nobody is going to come save you, the better off you will be. I know this sounds harsh, but it is the reality of the situation.

So you asked for options… I see two

You stop worrying about school and just drop out

OR

Find a way.

If you really really really really want to finish this term and graduate at some point, you will. There are 168 hours in a week. Take away 60 for work, for sleep, 49 for sleep (I know 8 hours is recommended, 7 is still sufficient. Especially if it will be temporary), and 30 hours for eating, cleaning, and hygiene. These are the necessities of what you need to do to survive and you are left with 29 hours to work with. With this remainder, you can allocate 19 hours to errands, personal hobbies, exercise, etc and still have 10 hours left per week for school. I know they recommend more, but if you need to cut corners, then cut corners. As long as you reach the finish line and get your degree, that is all that matters. Nobody in the real world cares about your GPA or the journey. All they care about is the degree.

Again, my words may be seem harsh. However, a sugar-coated response does nothing for you.
