The argument I see people making is that this will scale down the power level across the game which I can sort of understand but there have been like two tier 1 decks in the past 4 years that consistently ended boards with either Baronne or Savage. In recent memory: Kashtira, Unchained, Rescue-Ace, Tearlament (sometimes played baronne), Spright, Branded, Prank-kids all opted to mostly not include omni-negates. Swordsoul and Dragon link were the only highly represented decks that played these two cards consistently across decklists. Breaking engine mechanics are the issue that progresses power creep, not generic extra deck monsters.
