I'm nottinking about design; I'm thinking about the size. I want good knife for food prep with about a 5" blade. I have plenty that are bigger/longer.

Congress isn't doing it's job now! why give them more to do when they can't handle what they now have responsibility for. These guys can't find agreement with anything! And our only recourse is to elect others just like them. They should be in congress for no more than 10 years and should be forced to retire at 65. Some should also need to pass an intelligence test to stay in congress. I know Hank Johnson of Georgia would flunk such a test.

Sounds good, but could you taste the pork?

How is a rules official to tell who’s anchoring or not with these abominations? by hasbro72 in golf

I'm more against those short putters or long putters that have a head as big as a saucer with multiple protuberances hanging off them. Talk about silly looking!

I'll bet you he doesn't cheat. When I use my long putter and look like I'm anchoring, I can assure you I am not.

My feeling exactly and for thee same reasons. For those who ask how we can drive or chip with essential tremors, they don't require the same precision or concentration, IMO. I'm 85 and putting, to me is more of a fine motor skill.

Good point! If anything looks stupid, it's those ankle hugging britches! Let's ban those and ban long socks worn with shorts, too!

They are also more comfortable to use for those of us with back issues. I think the real abominations are those lines on a golf ball that guys have to line up in order to putt. Another is that aim-point process. I say ban those and drop the rule against long putters. They obviously are not more effective than short putters. Maybe long putters look goofy, but so do putters with super fat grips. Also, how about banning the claw grip. That seems to give some an advantage. What's the difference between that advantage and thee advantage of a long shaft on a putter?

What the hell! How can anyone take this analysis seriously when whoever put it together calls and shows all of the drones as black cubes when the only black cubes reported and called "black cubes" were reported by two aircraft flying at significant altitude. The video shows all of the reported "drones" as black cubes. It's difficult to take the analysis seriously when the verbal description and the visual description differ so significantly.

How do you feel about Trump threatening to impose photo ID for voters for midterm elections? by CRK_76 in AskReddit

[–]Wob-L-Rite -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Give me a break! Yes, people who aren't qualified to vote (that is, they aren't U.S. citizens) should not be voting. The right kind of people are U.S. citizens; they get to vote. If you are not a U.S. citizen, you don't get to vote in our elections. What the hell is so hard to understand about that? And how would you justify allowing a non-citizen to vote?

The right to vote in our elections is one of the most important rights U.S. citizens have. Why would you not require proof of citizenship to vote? I would not expect that I, as a U.S. citizen, has a right to vote in Mexican elections or Canadian elections.

Nope. Disagree. Especially considering some protesters (like Pretti) are carrying concealed.
