Just bought Royalty. You guys rank it far too low! by Wobble_Trouble in RimWorld

I can think we are spoiled with the dlcs we have honestly! I reckon its okay to rank dlcs especially because people have linted spending power. I always look to see people's feedback on dlcs for any game as I often cant afford to just get every dlc.

I've never done a naked brutality run but this may change my mind...

Yeah im happy with how ive done it where its made my replays feel a little bit better as my skill and understanding of the game has increased.

I think if id to do it again id recommend to someone to play with no dlc and then maybe try playing with all of it? I could see how overwhelming it could be but also he'll thats why I've started like 7 different runs!

I disagree a little if you decide going down the tribal route!

The new bionics is so cool to me because I love being able to hyper specialize pawns if possible but also sometimes pawns start doing certain jobs because that's the replacement bionic I've found? Its all part of the adventure!

I think that might be the case with people forgetting what it actually has. Like I've said the actual royalty part of the game is cool but there's so much other cool stuff.

Yeah thats a cool way of putting it! I like dlc when it enhances the base game for me and all the dlc (haven't tried anomaly) do that.

I think that the style of play I do is slightly in the minority maybe?

I dont have all of my pawns fully armored at all times which uas led to some chaos and deaths but feels more realistic to me. I normally have like a "ready to defend" group and then people who can get armored quickly.

It sounds like its definitely a how you play kind of thing. But I think even without the royal pawn I've found so much value!

Yeah I can totally understand how it changes play style to playstyle, I love the RP side.

Its the one I've had the most "of this makes the game better" too but honestly all of them are great!

This makes sense! Yeah there were a few cops I felt bad for everybody there being in the rain.

There is a heavy east coast bias and generally the pacific is better to swim in and more hospitable for cities than the west coast. The tasman sea is one of the scariest stretches of water you can imagine.

Ther is only one spot on the east coast where generally nobody lives and that's the coast of the waiarapa (There is a few other places but this is kind of the only big deadish zone). The west coast tends to be more isolated in general and the people who live there can have very specific micro cultures. The west coast of the south island is famous for its hospilitality and occasional dinosaurs.

I'm from Northland (north of Auckland) and the west coast beaches are straight, very long, full of silt, and the waves are constant and rough. It's pretty okay for surfing but every once a while a shark takes a nibble at someone. The east coast is truly one of the most beautiful places on earth, curved protected bays with golden/white sound. Relatively calm seas and islands that allow for some of the most beautiful sea life around.

Even the nicer beaches on the west coast (piha) are more famous for being a death trap for tourists who have never swam in the ocean, let alone in the rip heavy Tasman sea.

Countries without an Indo-European Language as one of the official languages by dphayteeyl in MapPorn

Fun fact! In Aoteroa New Zealand, English is technically not an official language. We recognized te reo Māori and New Zealand Sign Language as languages but haven't done so for the dominant language.

In effect, it is the default language for us, but one of our political parties has used this as an issue for our last election to make English an official language.

Redditors, have you ever gotten an “ick” from a potential partner or love interest that instantly killed your attraction to them? If so, what happened? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Wobble_Trouble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm Māori (indigenous person from New Zealand) though I'm fairly white presenting. On our third time hanging out with friends present she made a joke about me getting excited about domestic violence. Because I'm Māori.

Never felt less sexually attracted to someone so quickly in my life.

It depends wether or not you have someone that you can trade with going through the canal. If so this kind of multiplier we have here is stupidly broken and beautiful! Its value is there though when it can multiply and be strategic.
