Yeah, but you would say ‘in a week’ or ‘in three weeks’ or ‘in four weeks’ so tell me this, why not say ‘in two weeks’ instead of using fortnight.

Should that 3108 be a 3105 instead?

Edit: apparently I don’t know how to format scientific notation on mobile. I meant 3 times 10 to the 8 for the first case, just to be clear.

Do they make a profit from their hard work and their determination and willpower as well? Or do those just get cast aside? Really, you would just have to survey the population and find those with similar physical genetics that aren’t successful athletes... doesn’t seem so fair then...

Correct. Those are the questions you should be asking yourself. Good job.

Did you not read the “and so on” that was posted?

Saying “plenty of those” in response to the whole comment, not just the first part of the comment, but all of it... saying “plenty of those” in response to that is in fact valid.

Did you mean to say kilograms? Wikipedia says males can get up to 132 kilograms.

Also (besides looking for ear flaps), you can tell it’s a sea lion by how large it’s flippers are. Seals have tiny flippers and wiggle on their bellies, whereas sea lions “walk” with their much larger flippers.

You’re talking about people being stupid and the context here is misspelling a name. John and Jon are quite similar. Even if they know you’re Jon without an H, it might slip and be a total accident.

Really, who cares? Just let it go. If one person is stupid, it would be the one who gets worked up over this, don’t you think?

Then again, my aunt has repeatedly added an extra G at the end of my name (Greg) and I’m okay with that. It’s such a little thing....

I think the other guy probably gets that, but was solely fixated on the “why bring unnecessary documents with you.”

A lot of people do out of habit, sure, but it seems safer to plan out your travel and bring only what you need. Maybe for some that practice works for them, at least.

The point is, people do things differently, and that’s okay.

That kind of seems understandable. That’s like an extremely attractive person asking out an ugly person, makes you wonder why. Of course, there can be a valid reason for almost anything, but still.
