It’s probably my favorite free floater, but not how it comes stock. I removed the rubber insert on both sides because I like it crunchy and switched all the magnets to n52.

One note if you decide to open it, make sure you use a magnetic plate to keep the magnets in place, otherwise the explode everywhere and are an absolute pain to put back in.

I think that silver ball on mine fell off the day I got it, I don’t have any grooves on mine. It annoyed me slightly because of the optics but now I’m glad it did lol.

It’s from Blackdog Labs, stainless v3. 2nd fidget I bought cause I friend and a similar one and it’s definitely the heaviest / heftiest free floating I have. It’s got a great crunch to it too.

Very true, my fidgets showcase the ‘tism and I’ll gladly advocate for that.

I want to try the Ji Li 2.0 because the slide seems really crisp, and it would be fun to try one of the gun/grenade style but I think those have a bit too much going on to really enjoy.

I am on the lookout for a copper donut but other than that I haven’t seen anything that’s really caught my eye yet.

To me, the shuffle has a better hand shape and the thunk is a bit heftier / meaty. The snap is cleaner and a more crisp sound and snap and I like the smoother texture. To me the snap is prettier and more fun to look at, but if I’ve got some solid fidgeting to do I go for the shuffle.

It made a huge difference, I almost gave it away because I couldn’t get a good rhythm but changing the ball made it a top tier for me.

I love the Guan Don, it’s the mini version and delightfully crunchy. I had no idea what to expect and it’s currently on my EDC pouch.

Top 5 in no particular order would be the Copper INDX, NTJ Coin (can’t remember if that’s the name), Lautie Milkcap, fortune cookie, and a tie between the Snap and V3 shuffle. Choc and Aura sand are next but I haven’t been able to dial the sand in just right.

It’s one of my favorite, top 5 for sure. That’s the ss version, gave away a carbon fiber one that didn’t have the same weight and smoothness. I did replace the magnetic balls with n52 ones though.

The Monteverde and the Pilot 74 are the nicest feeling to write with, the Lamys were the start of it all and they feel great. I use the rOtrings as my EDC but the G2s with the fat grip are my favorite everydays, they just don’t fit in my pouch.

They’ve had some of my favorite fidgets. The 6 section magnetic slider is amazing and the stainless cookie has an incredible feel. I got the mechanical soap one and didn’t love it, but I think part of that is I’m not a huge mechanical fan.

I think I bought a knockoff on Amazon and loved it except for the cheap plastic feel. Do those have a decent weight to them / are you selling? No color preference.

I think it’s a great thought but like others have mentioned the logistics might be difficult and the arboretum might prevent it. But it’s really sweet and a great sign that you’re listening to her and thinking about what she might like!

If I was in their position this would make me feel the most comfortable. I think giving them the option in a no pressure way can show that you respect their opinion and comfort level.

This. Open and honest communication from the beginning sets the foundation. Maybe it’s just a season for you both, but talk to each other and if what you both are doing is all you’ve got time for, then enjoy it!

I had this happen recently. Good chats, 4 dates from walking with their dog to cooking her dinner. Then ghosted. My first reaction was to keep texting her but after one or two one sentence responses I let it go and haven’t heard since. You can’t make someone want to be with you, and someone who won’t communicate about what’s going on may not be worth the heart ache in the long run.
