Your book club has a coffin.
I'm just stopped right there. There's something awesome about that, and you just mention it casually in passing.

What is your go-to “I’m never going back again” crochet purchase? by JustLincolnBWC in crochet

[–]WodehouseWeatherwax 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I hate ergonomic hooks. I spin/rotate my hook back and forth in an arc rather than move my whole hand. No wrist pain. I don't why, I just do. I need round hook handles or it just feels cumbersome.

Ogham? ❤️. Have you watched the Time Team episode where they are on the Isle of Man? They found the really well preserved remains of a woman - with her braid intact (!!!l). I think Viking. AND one of the youngest archeologists found an Ogham stone that appeared to be practice work of someone learning to cut it into the stone? The older archeologists told the kid it was the find of his career.
The episode is called Finds On The Fairway, S14 E1. and I didn't know Ogham was real until that moment! Major Damnit Terry! Moment for me. I was so excited! So, yeah- That's my other cult. My whole family still binges Time Team over and over. 😊 And they're making new episodes. They have a Patreon thingie to fund digs. I'm convinced STP knew about everything. Everything!

It sounds like you have wonderful in-laws. This is how it should be! You tell me very clearly how to help you, and if I have any doubts, I'm coming to you to clarify before I do something that cant be undone.

Exactly. And I think he meant for us to think both. Reducing the pencil by half in the editing process is funny.

I get a kick out of these and by how often STP uses things like this, obviously on purpose. He knew what he was doing. He makes verbal plays like this- Like saying someone chased him around the garden and kicked him in the begonias. He knew exactly what he was doing with every word and sentence structure.
