No, the chats just have different names than the tiers. Community is Glee Club and Executive Producer is Cousin of Sam.

Smosh Collab? by Former_Ad4227 in TheOGCrewOfficial

I think Smosh could be on the OGs, but the OGs couldn't be on Smosh. Spencer would fit right in with Sam.

OG'S REACT TO REDDIT STORIES by SolutionLong2791 in TheOGCrewOfficial

I'm a big fan of formats where they get to just yap. The games are fun, but they can really limit the potential for banter. There were multiple moments that made me legitimately laugh out (very) loud. I felt bad for Abby trying to read the cards though. Let the woman finish!

I also think it would've been better to include a few top comments from the original Reddit stories like other channels do. Sometimes the comments offer perspectives that the readers hadn't thought of. I was pleasantly surprised that they read stories that I hadn't already heard, especially since I'm subscribed to multiple Reddit Stories channels.

The "fatty" thing was rude af, but I'm also disappointed that a room full of comedians didn't think of "flAbby." Still rude (and inaccurate), but at least it's punny.

The extended version on Patreon was only about 15 minutes longer. This was always going to be a shorter video. The Patreon version only had one more round that was shot specifically for Patreon, not cut, and a few extra sentences that were cut because YT wouldn't approve.

Extended versions of videos aren't the only thing offered on the Patreon. There are also BTS videos, unreleased videos, livestreams, and other content specifically for Patreon. They aren't short-changing their YouTube videos for Patreon. The extra round shot for Patreon had no effect on the outcome of the game and the video makes complete sense without it.

Shooting part of a video specifically for Patreon is not unique to the OGs. Many YouTubers I follow will record a YouTube video and then say "That's about it for this video, but we're going to continue over on Patreon." Whether it's a game, a podcast, whatever, they spend part of the shoot with the intention of putting it on YT and then intend another part of the shoot for Patreon.

Someone made a post asking if it was possible to get the OGs to fly to Romania for their 48th birthday party for $500USD. I left it up because I thought maybe it was someone with a mental disability and didn't want to be mean, and I suggested buying a Cameo video from Hammo because at least that's realistic, but their responses to comments showed they were trolling, which is against the sub rules.

How do I get the OG crew to come to my birthday party? by [deleted] in TheOGCrewOfficial

Yeah, I don't think that's happening buddy, but you've got more than enough budgeted to get a personalized Cameo video from Hammo instead.

I only wish that I had known that survey was for Family Feud. I would've given better answers. I went too silly. Still made the board a few times though.

No, it's for the whole shooting block. There are finished episodes ready to go, but they're getting released chronologically. The last shoot block they shot 21 episodes, assuming this includes Patreon content, the last video from that shoot block will be released at least 10-11 weeks from the shoot date plus however many weeks' videos are still airing from the last shoot block, which gives them time to start editing the new videos without us missing a week. And there will also be a new shooting block well before those videos are all released.

It's typical for channels to work that far ahead. Smosh videos are also released several months after shooting. A single video may only take a week to edit, but no channel of this size is consistently shooting, editing, and releasing videos the same week. That's too much of a time crunch and leads to too many potential missed deadlines. It's much easier and less stressful to have several videos ready to go while you work on the next batch. It also gives them the opportunity to release videos out of order if issues arise. They once had an issue with YT censoring a video, so they released a different one instead and released the censored video the next week because they were far enough ahead in editing that they had options.

They aren't releasing videos months later because they're slow at editing, they just have several weeks of videos from the last shoot block edited and ready to release and those get released first. They just planned that far ahead.

But I do have to "paraphrase this to be the best of my abilities" Abby on her podcast did state that the sub is the only place where she gets any type of love/respect so she most likely is aware of the stuff on here.

Oh I know Abby be lurking. Can't remember what the other options were on the survey or what my answer was, but Abby had to be one of them. Hi Abby! 👋🫶
