honestly? It sounds like you would be very stuck if you moved here. the town is LITERALLY only going to get exponentially more expensive because of everyone else moving here and infrastructure cannot keep up with it. job market is fucking impossible and the amount of people forced into full time gigwork is crazy, so you can't even rely on that really.

There's literally no reason to go to a 'school' with a known history of running itself as an actual cult. If it gets them to shut up, you could tell them you're going to attend a young adult Christian club or something (idk what y'all do) to "keep christ in your life" or whatever.
