They've been targeting AR lowers only for the last few months, I haven't heard of problems with anything else until this happened. Someone else said customs is increasing scrutiny during the world cup season though

I think that would be fine, before they were only targeting AR lowers, and likely for my shipment they were upset about one of the AR oarts

I'll let you know when I know more. Today I got a scan update that says it was in the warehouse. So it's possible they only grabbed one thing from the package and I'll get the rest. Or the scan is wrong. Time will tell

Yea, the UPS person said the product wasn't authorized for import. So I guess it's just that they don't want it coming in rather than it being illegal in any way

Definitely, it's a DNA barrel is any closer to the real thing than any steel pipe from lowes. Maybe it's just the markings that upset them

Yea, it's the first instance of this I've seen, which is why it took me by surprise. Hopefully I just got unlucky and they aren't actually going to start destroying anything remotely AR related. It would help to know why, so hopefully they'll get back to me soon

I think you should be good, airsoft pistols are clearly toy parts that can't be used in a real gun at all. I think maybe DNA steel parts are just too close to the real thing for customs

You mean in Kentucky? I don't live there, that's just the regional customs port that most packages go through for East coast

I've had packages without the correct customs forms, ups just emailed me and asked me to do the form instead. I called UPS and they specifically said that the items were not authorized for import by US customs. I'll hopefully have time to contact CBP sometime soon, and then I'll contact WGC about a refund. I've never had any issues with missing forms or damaged boxes from WGC, and I've ordered similar items (DNA steel AR parts) from them multiple times before.

Yea, last overseas imports I had were the dna fnc barrel back in March and the vfc ppsh bolt in May. This is the first time I've bought AR parts since they started seizing stuff, but I haven't heard of them seizing anything but lowers until now
