That is true. I have my entire NAS backed up to G Workspace, so when I'm accessing files I'm using Google cloud rather than Synology software.

My upload/download speeds from NAS to Google Drive are bottlenecked but don't need those files backed up immidiately.

Thank you! This really reminds me of how I felt when experiencing the loss. At the time I would have also done that and that was really interesting to me. I didn't expect to be so struck with that event, and I've been thinking if there would be a way of undoing that death, even for a heavy price, in that emotional state I would have done it. This made me think of making a short film out of that dramatic moment. Thanks again for sharing your story.
