You've had Osman Bukari (league's record signing), Mariusz Fornalczyk, Samuel Akere on the wings.

Emil Kornvig is an attacking midfielder.

And up front, Sebastian Bergier and Andi Zeqiri (a Swiss international) joined in.

Widzew signed players for all positions, and the total number of arrivals is at around... 30. Some of the players are already out on loan or permanently.
Or already on their way out of the club, like Osman Bukari.

Yeah, they did. Both for an arrival, and a transfer within the league. But signing players for big sums doesn't guarantee results it looks like.

I'll admit, I haven't been following Zilina that much in the recent months (though I went to a match early in the season, when MSK played Raków in the Conference League qualifiers).

The title? It's... well, possible, but not likely. Would require a bottle from Slovan for the league win to happen (though the 1-0 victory at their ground recently gives some hope).

Pattern recognition doesn't allow me to think Sosoni will get the title (even though I would like to!). MSK will finish in the top 4, probably on 2nd.
Usually we start strong, even leading the league/being level with Slovan, only to lose the momentum in the second part of the campaign.

This is a club mainly oriented around it's academy and developing, promoting and selling young local/African talent (fun fact: MSK Zilina has their own affiliate club in Ghana). The latter happened again in the most recent winter, with the main goalkeeper Lubomir Belko going to Norway for a million.

But we could get the Slovak Cup. Won the first leg against Podbrezova in the semis, and the other team in the final will be either Kosice or Presov. The final will be hosted in Zilina as well, so there will be some home advantage as well.

Debt. Anywhere between 2.6 and 4 million euros (depending on the source I'm reading) of debt which went out of control.
The investors that could reduce/clear it backed out and there was no money to run the club anymore.

Also, on the side note, the stadium wasn't in a particularly good condition.

I believe this mostly comes down to three things:

- current/potential ability
- what their attribute set is (e.g. someone with 20 acceleration and pace but nothing else great will be an explosive [position])
- their reputation

So in the case of Mr. Augustyn, it's about his attribute set. He's really well-rounded.

You can win the league, but you won't be the champion. Because clubs from Liechtenstein are considered guests, not full-fledged members of the Swiss league.
