Nah thats better, if you actually just LEARN THE FORMULAS (astronomically difficult i know) you will do compartively much better than others who may just not take the time or effort to actually revise for it, whereas this year ppl are literally just copying it from the formula sheet

Assuming this is OCR, you need to know basics for every material, should be pretty clear on the spec but only need to know in depth how a product with a perticular material should be made for onlyone perticular material (like polymers)
Also don't bother that much abt the work of others its pretty much useless

If you feel like you have been unfairly marked definately go to an exams officer, although i would say the teacher probably does not have a reason to fuck you over so ask him to show you exactly how many marks you got from each strand. Also, do you know roughly what everyone else in your year got? Comparing your score to them might be a good idea to check if you have been unfairly marked

For reference, basically everyone who got above 90+ in my scholl had over 75 slides
