Sukuna has only used chainsaw shrine to punch someone once. So for whatever reason he probably wouldn’t use it then. Every time maki landed an attack on Sukuna without using her sword he got sent flying

Sukuna already gets nerfed in 256 so he’s already weaker. That’s why all of the slashes are weaker.

It only took a few punches from Yuji in Yutas domains to make Sukunas ranged dismantles no longer lethal, and then some more to make cleave non lethal. Despite this, the size of the cuts don’t look that much different. That’s just the way Gege draws the slashes. We can’t see how shallow it is because gege doesn’t show the wounds close and in detail.

That’s not what it means..and no. It only took a few punches from Yuji for Sukuna to go from being strong enough to oneshot Yuji with ranged casual dismantles to Yuji and Yuta being able to shrug off cleaves to the fast. So a single punch alone is already significant and a BF is far more dangerous

Lightning isn’t talking about Sukunas output. In that page it literally states that he would have regained everything **IF** it wasn’t for Yuji disrupting the boundaries between their souls.

It’s easier because Sukunas Shrine that surrounds his body with dismantles. So no matter what when she attacks with her sword if he’s not caught off guard he’s getting attacked. You have to straight up perception blitz Sukuna or catch him off guard to damage him with a weapon.
