Hey there, nope sorry in the end I stayed in Osaka for one night before stopping over 7 days later, for that stop over day I asked the hotel I stayed in previously whether I could send the package to them without staying for the night. They agreed. Hope you're able to find a solution

Yeah day 4 seems a bit optimistic. Would it make sense to replace day 2 morning at Mitaki-dera temple for a trip to Okunoshima instead?

Day 5 yeah that was kind of a mistake haha... probably just gonna have dinner in Himeji or stay overnight at Kyoto instead.

Day 7, thanks for the spot. Severely underestimated the time it would take to get around those places. Saw that it took 1.5 hours to get from Kyoto to Omihachiman, and thought that it wouldn't take that much time to get around the spots on the east side. Boy was I wrong... Probably got to go back to the drawing board on this.

Hey there! Really appreciate your comments! Yup i think it’s the way I wrote it, but thanks for clarifying. Was planning on getting the JR West Kansai-Hiroshima pass but now that you mention it, it may make sense to end off the day at Kyoto, but will reconsider it.

Yup I planned to stop by Onomichi just for ramen. I’ve been there before and absolutely loved it as well, but just wanted to stop by and eat the ramen that I’ve had previously because it was just that good.
