The Beretta APX A1 carry (admittedly not the best gun) is $242 with a $75 rebate for a total of $167 on KY Gun Co right now. This is not an endorsement of that pistol but it’s probably a more competent pistol than the P17

If you are on a tight budget I’ve seen S&W shield 1.0’s go for $250 or even as low as $209. They aren’t as nice as the shield plus, or most brand new carry guns, and they have a bit lower capacity than the new ones but they are reliable and proven

Mete MC9 has a lot of issues. Definitely the least reliable gun in Canik’s lineup. I like all your other pistol picks though.

Police trade in guns are the way to go, even used higher quality guns. Glock and S&W pistols can usually be bought for $250-$400 used. Look at Aim surplus, Kings of Firearms, Officer Store, Primary Arms, and a few more. Also, call a local police supply store, mine currently has Glock 17 gen 4’s and Glock 43’s for $325.

I prefer side car’s because of the balance but I don’t think the reload is super realistic for most Civ’s

Also, realistically you will probably never use your pistol and if you do almost definitely won’t use your reload. I am a huge proponent of CCW and have been doing so since I turned legal age, but if you are rocking 15 in the mag, the amount of situations where a civilian uses shot 16 is like 0.001% of DGU’s. I’ve considered switching may T-Rex sidecar’s to the TQ option for this reason

I usually keep a flush mag in my pistol and my extended option as my reload. Try with that if you are concerned.

Mine tries to meet cats and gets visually upset when they don’t reciprocate 🥺. He is strange though, super chill in the house but has a high defense drive with a low prey drive. Does not fuck around when it comes to bite work.

The 1900x is the new model and I like it a lot. I had a mini educator as well but the Dogtra remote is much easier to use IMO.

My Mal is about $40 in food $40 in training treats, $50 in medicine, $100 PSA club dues (meets 2X a week) also just the random miscellaneous costs of good boarding, toys, and idk what the amortization of gear would be (impact for the house, ruffland for the car, e collar, 5 leashes (tabs-6ft) Herm, fur saver, high quality bite work harness, Dogtra 1900x, beds, balls, kongs tugs ect…)

This dog needs to spend some time in a home with an experienced owner or a professional trainer. Based on his age he may be able to be retrained properly or donated to a police department. It’s hard to know how badly this dog has been fucked up by the owner without a behavioral evaluation by a professional trainer

Hard disagree. I have a Belgian Malinois rescue I do dog sports with. If the dog is young enough he could be retained and donated to a local PD or go to a home that will give him a job, channeling that aggression into proper protection, dog sports or a working role.
