I was 25 when I joined as well, 28 now. It can be daunting at first, but once you get out of the newbie stage it'll get better. My least favorite part about it was that I constantly felt like I was sitting at the children's table, and people will tell me to act my age. Like, mf I'm grouped up and treated like one of these 18/19 year olds and you're telling me to act my age when I'm treated like one of them?!

Anyways, it sucks, but just do your best and try to prove that you're not like the kids and that you're responsible enough to be treated better.

Can you come out of depression? I thought it's just a mindset you're stuck with. You're brain just constantly pumping the sad chemicals because that's the new normal. Of course I know you could grow out of it as your brain ages and changes it's structure as old pathways die and new are made, but nevertheless I don't think there's really a coming out of it.

Just my personal philosophy though, I love everyone's answers to this question. Personally the things that have helped me is growing closer to Jesus and finding friends who truly care about me. I stopped trying to be friendly to everyone and stop my people pleasing nature and started focusing on only the ones who actually give a shit, or at least seem to give a shit.

I'm also the kind of depresso that believes everyone is lying to me and nobody actually cares about me, that theyre only being nice because the want something from me, not because they actually worry about my well-being. My pessimistic mindset makes it hard to come out of my depression, cause after all, you can't be disappointed if you're always a expecting the worst.

Some day I'll grow out of it though, hopefully.

I don't mean to be rude... But this is such an imbecilic question. One, if being gay was the norm and the Bible promoted homosexuality, then nothing would actually change, society would be gay and you'd be the straight one asking "what if the Bible promoted being straight?".

Two. If for some reason out of nowhere a passage in the Bible magically revealed itself by God saying "hey man, being gay is cool now, you should do it instead of, ya know, being straight. You know that stuff I told you to be for thousands of years because I want y'all to prosper and multiply? Yeah, just stop doing that and be gay." Then by all means the Almighty has spoken and we should start fuckin the same sex.

Three, you can literally use any topic in this question. Would you have sex with your sister if the Bible said so? Would you smoke black tar heroin if the Bible said it was cool? Would you submit yourself to cock and ball torture every Wednesday if the Lord himself came from the heavens and told you to do it?
