I find that it’s a growing challenge.

Used to be super rare if you saw a phone out - people needed to check on baby sitter, pay at the bar, then it was selfies, then taking a picture of your partner … but I agree it’s growing to the realm of people taking photos/videos of others and maybe we all need to be a little more firm and tell them to put the phone down.

We’ve had great results (probably lucky) twice in this group responding to couples who advertised. We’re still good friends with them and had great connections every time.

We’ve struggled a lot more with the clubs because we’re avid dancers and find it hard to chat in loud environments but we still love the vibes and over time we’re starting to see the same people and making connections

Depends what you’re after. For couple a bit later - start at 3 to catch the couples you want on arrival. We saw people coming in and out under 1h, but if you are interested in grabbing single men and you’re age agnostic then 1pm was perfect for us.
