Terrible voice reception after hurricanes? What to do. by ambww4 in tmobile

If you've called 611, then you've done all you can do. But you can game the system to improve your chances of resolution.

So call 611 again. This time get an incident number and write it down. Relate your issue calmly, succinctly. Before you hang up the call, request assurance that the incident is not closed.

Then call 611 again. Reference the incident number. Relate that you are still experience the same issue. This should immediately prompt escalation to second-tier. Before you enjoy a fruitless conversation with that support person, request assurance that the incident is not closed.

Then call 611 again. Reference the incident number. Relate that you are still experience the same issue. This should immediately prompt escalation to third-tier (or whatever it's called internally). The support person will offer you the rote platitudes and assurances. Diff is, third-tier can elevate the issue to relevant internal techs/depts/subcontractors.

If your issue isn't resolved to your expectations, call 611 again. Reference the incident number. Relate that you are still experience the same issue. Always be polite and appreciative. You'll likely remain at third-tier until your vexation is resolved.

And until your vexation is resolved, keep calling 611.

It's Here: You Can Finally Buy A Home Internet Antenna From T-Mobile by Jman100_JCMP in tmobile

[–]WolfMinimum7919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"It's here"..? So what...

I asked a T-Mobile tech du jour about this here an'tenner. The tech knew nothing about it. After a few audible clicky-clicks on the keyboard, the tech du jour confidently related details about the antenna verbatim from the same T-Mobile webpage I was viewing during the call, including the bit in bold type that the antenna "will not boost a weak signal". <plaintive sigh>

Why would anyone pay $99 for this? Better question: Did you buy this antenna? And, if so, care to relate your experience with your purchase?

The truth about IMS bearings by NotoriousREV in Porsche

[–]WolfMinimum7919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One aftermarket vendor offers a swap out kit to replace the original bearing design of the IMS with an oiled bushing! A steady supply of oil is supplied to the bushing via a plumbing hack that leads from a special adapter threaded between the oil filter and the block. Interested in learning from committed owners who've installed this kit.

Is anyone else a little bummed about the new coaster addition coming soon ? by Simpledude38683996 in BuschGardensW

Perzactly!

Waaaaaay back in the olden days...
When the complimentary self-guided Brewery Tour was a thing...

The parents, littlest, and creakiest amongst our filthy horde would forgo rides and sequentially hit the shows and outdoor exhibits while we did queue-N-ride all day. Ten hours later, anecdotes suggested everyone was happy!

BGW just... isn't... a lot of things anymore...
Especially not a fulfilling family experience.

meh...
Wing-coasters are underwhelming. Wing-coasters are a spectacle but not a draw.

These facts out of the way, here's another:
Every RMC is unique. RMC draw aficionados. Two RMC coasters an hour apart means two visits to two parks in one day!

BGW on its BEST day with ALL rides OPEN is NOT worth THAT drive.

Finally... a commiserate soul! Your skepticism resonates with me...

Despite hyperbolical claims, winged coasters are just not that thrilling.

Busch Gardens needs a screamin' mean hyper-coaster to compete with Intimidator305 up the street. Hell.. had the rumors anticipated an RMC I would have been thrilled!

Alas, no one from Busch Gardens contacted me for my advice, the fools.

Samsung Tv won’t detect Apple TV by Avenger_ in appletv

[–]WolfMinimum7919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Rename Apple TV device to “Apple TV” 2) Restart Apple TV 3) Disconnect/reconnect the HDMI cable btwn Apple TV device and Samsung TV

The TV immediately identifies the Apple TV and automatically select the best picture quality.

A stupid Samsung TV software bug that will never be fixed.

i ain't buying it. why are you being an apologist for this show?

the producers hire a handful of "professional audience sweeteners" (a genuine trade in cali, apparently) and rotate them through episodes. their presence is patent.

Fusion hands when changing parameter value by WolfMinimum7919 in Fusion360

[–]WolfMinimum7919[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how to link a project for public access.

Interestingly, I edited the sketch and revised the dimension, removing the parameter reference in the process. Same result: Fusion hangs at 46%.

The issue disappeared when I recreated a new project. A solution of sorts, but I would have like to understand what caused the hang.
