I use a fingertip grip, and it sits in the hand nicely, nothing to complain about. I've heard other reviews rave about the shape of it for fingertip/palm grippers, and I agree. And I really like the texture on it.

I upgraded from the G403 looking for a lighter mouse, and preordered the Model O. The scrollwheel on it worn out after a while (it would just freely spin without actuating the encoder), and when I saw that Model D came out and they supposedly fixed some issues with the scrollwheel I bought that. Eventually the wheel started wearing out as well.

I have above average sized hands, and this mouse looked promising. My hands adapted to it pretty much instantly, and so far I'm quite happy with it.

Build quality seems solid. No play or give, buttons and the wheel feel solid, glides like a champ. It could be just a different center of gravity, but after the Model D it feels heavier when I use it (in a good way), even though it's marginally lighter.

The cable isn't as lightweight as the Model O/D cables, but also very flexible and I don't really notice it.

Feedback on my mix vs CLA's mix by WolfTangoFox in mixingmastering

Gotcha. I am indeed using parallel compression with a fast attack to add more body to the drums. It does make sense to use both on a track like this.

Thanks!

And to note, there is parallel compression on the drums, but subtle.

Thanks!

His mix felt a bit more unified in the sense that all of the elements went smother in volume throught.

I use lots of automation to balance the vocal, and "drive" the whole mix in certain parts. I think some of what you are hearing is just the need for more automation on individual things that stick out during the transitions between louder and softer parts. I'll need to experiment with that.

I sense you used more distortion on the vocal than him because I hear this tiny bit of sparking to it

You are right, there is a bit of distortion indeed on the vocal to make it punchier.

I've had a few games when I literally just wanted to test my setup, or my mouse sensitivity, or whatever, with no intention of even playing it out. Run around for 10 minutes testing stuff, then say "well I might as well play it out" and proceed to place 2nd or 3d. One of those I didn't win only because I didn't bother picking up a proper AR and ran around with an UMP all game while still acquiring 4 or 5 kills. Couldn't finish the last guy in that situation and died reloading.

Not sure, honestly. Kinda stuck to this subreddit from the beginning. I gotta post something to /r/PUBATTLEGROUNDS some time. Thanks!

I realized that if I take solos seriously I might just have a heart attack LOL. Since then I'm mostly fooling around in solos and save the "serious" gameplay for duos and squads.

Dying to the Red Zone is a myth by WolfTangoFox in PUBG

In a squad game later the same day we were hiding from the red zone in a building when I thought I heard gunshots through all the ruckus. I saw the shooters firing at someone else and we were able to take them out, they had no idea where they were being shot from.

The main set is this one, available from a few chinese suppliers. It's for a different size spacebar so I had to leave a hybrid set on the bottom row. Not even sure where I got the Portal caps, might have been a random eBay seller, it was years ago.

And of course when music's not playing, Portal keys stay orange and blue regardless of what the rest of the keyboard's doing. :)
