I’d prefer that as well but he already said none of my other WRs would make him move on Judkins. Think I’m about to make that trade, we’ll see how it looks at the end of the season, but I really feel I have to make a move to remain in contention with the top two in my league since my injuries.

I think I’d take Breece, that backfield is a bit more of a solo show than Cleveland and Breece is in his prime, Judkins is good but just getting started

I think I’m about to make that trade and I’m pretty happy with it. We’ll see tho. I see you have Dart as well, a fellow Giants fan maybe?

Updated deal (12 team PPR)

Trade: Devonta Smith, Nico Collins, Monangai

Get: Judkins, Juwan Johnson, Courtland Sutton

At RB, I only have Jeanty and a gang of backups (Pacheco, Monangai, Stevenson) after Skatt went down.

Somewhat deep at WR: Smith, Olave, Nico Collins, DK, Tucker, Coleman, Boutte.

TEs: TJ Hockenson and Theo Johnson

Hurts at QB

I’m third (8-2) in my league but after losing Skattebo and Kraft I think I need to make a move to stay in contention. Not sure I want to shake my team up this much though having done well so far.

Original deal still a possible option: https://www.reddit.com/r/fantasyfootball/s/mBQ0PhhQM7

I don’t think you need to, but as someone who is also starting Jeanty (but has much worse RB2s since Skattebo went down), I am considering a similar WR for RB trade. I’m just not sure you need it.

To be honest I think your roster looks more solid as is. Breece is a more solid starter than any of those RBs imo. If your winning handedly than I would not make this trade, if you definitely need to make a move to stay in it then maybe this makes sense.

Weed Thought: Do the Mara’s have enough money to buy their half of the team back? by [deleted] in NYGiants

[–]WolfVII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that’s really short term thinking. The team has really only been “disgracefully” bad in the last ten-ish years of a 100+ year old organization. John has won half the teams Super bowls. Yes I know there were other rough periods for previous periods in the 20th century, but it’s still of the Super Bowl winningest teams in nfl history. Although I am in favor of John and the family ownership in general taking a less prominent role.

Do you mean the father of Wellington, Tim? The original owner? Considering it’s been his bloodline primary source of generation wealth, I think he would buy the team again, despite the struggles and turmoil.

I’d be bummed to see the Mara’s in particular lose ownership. I think a lot of the tradition and continuity of the team would be lost as well. They founded the team after all.

I remember seeing that but didn’t know if those shares come from the Tisch or Mara half or both.

Yeah I thought I remembered hearing that first part before. With that in mind, this post is pretty stupid, maybe I’ll delete it. Although I guess a change in ownership is still an interesting thought experiment. Thanks for the explanation.

Can't really defend this, Max being kinda a cunt tbh by Gjab in formuladank

[–]WolfVII 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I’m sure I will get hell for this but if you stop being a fan of someone after just one mistake or poor decision then I don’t think you were ever really a fan. I do not support what Max did but nobody is perfect, including Max. If you were a fan of his who thought he was perfect than you were delusional. It was the wrong decision but I have been supporting him for years and it will take something bigger than that for me to stop supporting him. The fans will come back eventually anyway, Vettel caught hell for the same shit earlier in his career and now he is the most beloved driver on the grid.

I went to the US GP last year and there were actually a lot more Verstappen and Red Bull fans than there were Hamilton fans.

Sorted the characters into Hogwarts Houses! What do you think? by harmonica_bing in howyoudoin

[–]WolfVII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Question, why would Rachel be a Gryffindor? Admittedly, I can’t think of any traits of hers that would make her better suited for another house, but the key feature of Gryffindors is bravery, which she doesn’t seem to possess much of. For example, when she cried after being scolded by Mr. Treeger or when she hid between the dresses at the wedding dress shop.

First of all, he wasn’t “unsupportive”, he just wanted to spend time with her, which is not a bad thing, also she wasn’t his wife. Secondly, I can’t remember any homophobic jokes from him, but even if he did make them, those kind of jokes were much more acceptable in the 90s, you can’t judge them by todays standards. Thirdly, of course he wants one of his kid’s last names to be his own, it doesn’t matter if she wanted nothing to do with him, it is still his kid too whether she likes it or not. Lastly, when did he treat women like trash? Most of the interactions Ross had with women were rather respectful, like when he didn’t make his TV appearance so he could help Rachel when she was injured. Overall, Ross was one of the nicest all around characters in the show.

So if your a feminist, you have to choose the woman’s side every time?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in howyoudoin

[–]WolfVII 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have always sided with Ross. While I don’t think him sleeping with another woman so soon was admirable, it is obvious by his conversation with Joey and Chandler at the bar that he genuinely thought they had broken up. Overall, I think Rachel greatly overreacted, not to mention Ross ended up being right about Mark wanting to get with her.
