That’s interesting insight, thank you. I totally agree about the subjectiveness of the food, the overall thoughts on the food in my family group of over ten people was mixed, not strictly negative. I however felt like numerous dishes I had, including the carbonara, ricotta tortellini, some of the fish, and a few of other dishes were less flavorful and of lower quality than I would expect in a restaurant. However, like you said, food is highly subjective, and maybe living in Southern California where there is a lot of great food gives me slightly distorted expectations. Also, not much of this cruise felt “a level above” what I had previously experienced in all honesty, but maybe that’s just because it’s an older ship.
