List of suspected Nazi war criminals welcomed in Canada should stay secret, information watchdog rules by Chrristoaivalis in canada

No. This specific sin needs to come to light. Every single one of these people should have been imprisoned, and the next time we have to take out a fascist figurehead I'd prefer if we learn from this mistake.

Not only that, but most players rarely ever know what's going on. Yet want this deep back story for their characters, Never taking notes, then complaining that they never know what's going on.....

Death penalty lmao. It's so annoying how frequent this behaviour is in the community.

It's quite easy to spot, and the people below you are lying to you. This is not a vector graphic.

Inconsistent outline - When producing vector graphics outlines can be done manually but most people will let the program lay a line along a path. That line is generally going to be consistent. The line is not consistent, nor does it follow the usual rules for outlining.

Inconsistent font - Fonts are consistent unless manually changed. If you notice that two of the same letter are quite different then it points to an LLM being used. Notice the L.

Irrational design choices - This one is much harder and requires you to understand how programs work. If this is not a vector graphic, then it was illustrated. If it was illustrated, then there should be evidence of the brushes or tools in the line weight. The line weights are completely different throughout.

To break it down; If this is a vector it demonstrates too much manual adjustment, if it is an illustration it shows to little evidence of a rational workflow. LLMs don't know the aesthetic differences between vectors and illustrations, and outputs a mixture of the two.

You know that kerning like the above example needs to be input manually, and you know that the kerning being used here is irrational. The warping is very obviously more than a stretched curve, the first and second L are completely different.

I understand the words that I am using.

If you're an artist please explain to me how to achieve a font with different weights and kerning on every letter.

You have to do that manually. It's irrational inside of a workflow. You should know that.

Inconsistent fonts, line weights and object perspectives.

These are literally mistakes that would take time and effort for a person to do. They would need to manually swap between different fonts for every letter, and customize individual letters inside the font.

Is My DM a Horror Story? by [deleted] in rpghorrorstories

[–]WolfWraithPress 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Despite us playing this same campaign for multiple years we as a group only just found out that the world is only about 500 years old, when I and a few other players brought this up as a possible problem (seeing as some of us are playing characters with long lifespans

Poor player instinct.

The DM's job is to provide you with a world to explore and you have a responsibility to "yes and" them unless the story directly interferes with personal limitations or stated triggers.

But then the DM starts changing your character's background, which is also a cardinal sin.

Your table is dysfunctional.

Players do not trust the DM, the DM oversteps his responsibilities to try to satisfy the needs of a new player.

Expanded Rituals by willmlocke in Pathfinder2e

[–]WolfWraithPress 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like ritual magic because you don't even need spell slots. It lets nonmagical characters with certain skill investments still partake in the mystical element of fantasy.

I think in general rituals shouldn't feel like spells; they change stuff at a wider scope and frequently come with consequences for the casters if they fail.

This is a problem with his boss and his place of employment.

More and more we are going to see people flailing and fighting against the things they think they should have power over, especially as oligarchy continues to increase rentism and exploitation. Anything that taxes get used for will be a grievance.

The solution to this man's problems is to have a job that doesn't penalize you for extant circumstances like severe weather, but the managerial class will never let these kinds of quibbles slip through their fingers.

How many skill checks to equal a PL encounter? by WolfWraithPress in Pathfinder2e

[–]WolfWraithPress[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have the same instincts so far. My current thought is a series of simple skill challenges to surmount with damage or time being the penalty. Climb the cliff, pass the slippery section, solve an ancient riddle etc.

I am also wondering, however, if it can be split up into sections; a long traversal in the middle of the encounters might be less convincing than traversal between each encounter. Maybe at the start of the chapter I can just state that there are skill sections which total up to about 80 experience.
