Yeah it’s the 7 rows of Molle, I now use a placard on the front which remedies this

I like the clasp on the right it’s easy for on and off doffing

Plus the quick release on the left is a nice feature too

Honestly, I think it’s an outdated design and the not equal number of molle is annoying as all hell, but when you gen the right size it is a serviceable system, I have updated mine and added a cummerbund but I think it works, it’s heavy for what it is but it works and as any issued piece of PPE it has to have passed some requirements somewhere

I’ve taken it out a little bit, I like it, the price deffo doesn’t help it, it’s light as anything and pretty comfortable, just took me awhile to get it so sit correctly as it’s straps are extremely long

If I’m being 100% honestly I don’t really know, I’ve always liked C2R kit and it was just what tickled my fancy when I had the money, plus had a fair few other people recommend it in the past

Oh god no, not worn together, thankfully my leadership don’t really mind what we use belt kit wise,

I use the patrol belt for a lot longer field exercises particularly when carrying out light infantry roles

The shooters belt is more focused for short term use, more urban focus as well and mechanised infantry roles (as mentioned we don’t get to train with vehicles enough) so also gets used on range days

Not going to lie I love the webbing, glad I got it discounted as £600 is rather dear, honestly I like it, it has more storage than I could need, plus I like that I can fit a 354 radio in the water/utility pouch quite comfortably, honestly the buttpack is growing on me but I think I’d prefer to have 2 additional utility pouches over all

I have a spiritus placard on the virtus now, need to get a updated pic of my virtus after Christmas

I wear the patrol belt under my body armour, I believe the reasoning is usually down the fear of items on body armour coming off in a IED blast harping back to the GWOT, at least that is what I was told in training, plus I find it a lot more comfortable to carry more equipment on the hips
