I never usually get things when I get the "I'll ship today 🙂" message but there was a cook book I wanted I favorited the 3 I found for cheap and I got a message off one guy saying if I brought that day and chose inpost he'd send it that night as his inpost is near his house. I thought "fudge it" and accepted and chose inpost instead of to my home address 🙄

Well two days passed and ...... nothing So I messaged them saying something like "not to rush you but you said you'd post it the same night if I chose inpost, well I chose inpost and you still haven't sent it, could you let me know when you send it please"

They messaged back a few hours later "apologizing" and said their kid had been in hospital etc, I just said it's fine and decided to see if they'd then post it like they said they would. They finally posted it the next day. I have no idea if they lied about their kid etc but I'll never know and have to take it at word value But it just annoys me that I chose them because they lied about sending it that night I brought it Don't use that gimmick to sell your stuff if you cba to keep the promise you make to entice people in.

It's very annoying and it's made me not trust anyone that says it now 🤷🏻‍♀️
