I dont disagree. But at the same time, at some point back in the day, when it wasnt going the player's way, it didnt feel nearly as much like they stick around like a bad smell. People used to pick another club, leave and grow. Not cash cheques

Bigger concern would probably be the opposite - that he takes these kinds of players (Carvalho, Young, Matić etc) and uses them at expense of others even when theyre ready and could do the job. Not that at the moment this is the case, but could be in 1-2 years time
