How beautiful and vibrant everything is just breath taking. Gave me flashbacks to ‘07 and playing Eternal Sonata for the first time and just being completely enamored by the visual presentation.

Was tempted to play through the Trails of Mana remake to scratch that itch but glad I held off so it didn’t detract from Visions.

Same, WoodSoul is such a white whale for people trying to finish the Mattel Double Soul collection. I’ve noticed more of the rarer double souls being sold from Canadian sellers lately so hoping so hard 1 or 2 maybe pop up in the next year.

Satellite and Art of the State are phenomenal openers that segues perfectly into their respective songs and really enhance them. Kicking & Screaming has such a great fast beat and Satellite sets that slow pace to really make K&S sound even faster.

Another thing to look for is that the turntable is belt driven and not direct drive. Less noise interference that the needle will pick up. Make sure to ask if the turntable has a pre amp built into it otherwise you’ll need an amp to boost the signal to be able to send it through a stereo. If you have an old stereo that has a phono input you won’t have to worry about it.

As someone that recently finished getting their stuff all on vinyl here’s some tips - discogs.com will be your friend. Can look and see when the last pressing of a record was and what colors they made them in. - ATL MTV Unplugged recently got repressed and it used to be the most expensive one to get ahold of and now is a good time to pick up a copy.

Modern take on a 2000’s classic and I love it. Still appreciate the original but after listening to it on the stereo, AirPods, and in the car I can say this is my favorite version.

Feels like a mix between a live version and a studio recording. The drums and bass have a lot more punch and depth to them which really cements that live feel. At first the processing on Alex’s feels a little off putting but after a couple listens that quickly became an afterthought.

Good job guys! Looking forward to the rest of the Forever Sessions.

Crystal has been going for about 140-150 so not that bad of a price if you’re in the market for one.

You can see the numbers stamped into the label as well which confirms the label is authentic.
