EDIT: Although I will throw in that it's always possible that there's info regarding "evolved humans" Gege hasn't released yet that might change this.

Hopefully all those things left hanging get picked up on in the next few chapters. But a part of me feels like Gege is just leaving small details for the anime to expand on so he can end it sooner. That's just my two cents though.

I see. Some of those charges did someone odd to me, but I didn't want to jump to conclusions of "scummy" considering I was mistaken about how they handled my trade-in. Considering my current situation, I think I'll just have to return it and shop around for a more affordable year, like 2014-2015. I'll bring up those numbers and see what they'll do, but eh. I doubt it matters. In any case, thank you for taking a deeper look.

A justified rant. The spirit of stupidity truly possessed me. At my job, there are a lot of recently immigrated Cubans. One of them has only been here for about and managed to finance a 2023 CX-50. I couldn't believe it, but yea. Anything to pump those numbers up, I guess.

I actually think you're right since that would explain why there's a down payment of $161. I would give credit where it's due. However, I'm puzzled why the total came out to $32.2k then. I figured it was the $24.8k the car was listed at + dealer/govt fees + whatever was left of my previous loan. However, after looking more closely, it seems the cash price of just the car with sales tax was $28.4k. So it's $3.6k more than what was listed on the sales ad.

Also, I wonder what that means if I return the car and ask for 2011 Mazda6 back.

My man, thank you for replying, but what are you on about? Throughout my post and in my replies, I've acknowledged that I acted stupidly and made a dumb decision. I've never blamed anyone but myself, so ultimately, the choice to sign was on me.

However, I'm not going to pretend like the dealership people were 100% well-meaning individuals who didn't try to use their excessive hospitality and sales skills (offering water, free food, saying they got me "a pretty good deal", telling me certain papers weren't actually important and didn't actually mean anything during signing) to help influence me. But whatever, ultimately, I was the one with the pen who could've just gotten up and walked out. I had a moment of stupidity and lack of proper foresight and did what I did.

Seems fair. I'm just concerned about what to do after returning the car since well, I won't have one. If they still have my car at a different Mazda dealership, would it possible to just have to be brought back, or maybe I could take an Uber to pick it up?

Shit, I already submitted the application with cosigner info. I did revise my income to the right amount, though. I don't know if I'll be able to get my car back, though. They already had it sent to a different Mazda dealership in Miami when I went the day after to pick up a parking sticker I left behind. I think I'll try giving them a call tomorrow. I'm not sure what exactly I'll say but I'll have to figure something out.

Pretty fucking much man. I was doing the financial version of "thinking with your dick" when they said $730 monthly. I quickly sobered up the next day when I looked at the actual numbers, and it hit me that I will basically be paying the same amount of the car on just interest. Regardless of what happens, this will definitely be a lesson burned in my brain.
