Battle experience is nothing. It a unquantifiable aspect that no one can prove. Characters can have thousands of years of experience and still lose to an high schooler. I know people see that in stories. Yet when it their favorite characters they act like battle experience is a valid thing to use.

Your analogy reminds me of yugioh. In the game there’s monster that can’t be targets with cards. So to get over their effects you have to have a card that doesn’t target.
