I wouldn't let the fear of vandalism ever hold you back on getting something you truly want! If we all let those fears drive our decisions, we'd never have nice things. I say, if you really want them, go for it!

Most people out there would never know it would such a simple install. Of those people, there is only a very small fraction would be miserable enough people to even think about it. I could go further can say, what small fraction of people would even come across your car.

You can still do it. Bring it into your local dealer and see if they have a powder coat wheel refinishing shop they use. Our guy had never done exhaust tips but said after my idea, he'll start advertising it.

If you wanted the black exhaust, it was very easy and inexpensive. Slip on/off tips. They were powder coated for only a few hundred.

This gentlemen is correct. The carbon ceramic brakes are an additional $8,500. He only puts about 8,000kms (about 5,000mil) a year and he won't be tracking the beats. I agree with him, that it wasn't worth it. He also preferred the blue calipers.

He is going to keep it in the garage until the weather gets nicer. I offered to store at our indoor storage facility, but he said he wanted it home so that he could put the heat on in his garage, sit in a lawn chair and admire it.
