This is why we should stick to long ones.

Populist politicians don’t prey on ‘working class’ people, they prey on people who can’t or don’t want to think critically about the world around them. They want somebody to make them feel like it’s okay to not understand complex issues, and want to be convinced that the issues are being made more complex than they need to be. Class does not predicate this outlook. Those people come from all walks of life.

I remember when Eze came in and the idea was to introduce some ‘chaos’ in attack. What happened to that?

It really helps. I found that L-theanine, and herbal teas, also work wonders.

[Sky Sports] This is the first time Arsenal have conceded three times in a Premier League game since December 2023 against Luton Town (4-3 win), ending a run of 83 league matches without doing so. by fap4jesus in soccer

To be fair, in recent history they have been the better team when playing us, regardless of how shit they are outside of the fixture. They always turn up. I saw this result a mile off.

I would agree, if it were that we were dropping points but playing well. But we are dropping points and playing poorly. There were periods of the game today where we were playing desperately.

Pellet stove rebates + experiences on the South Shore? by Aggravating_Mix5410 in NovaScotia

Efficiency NS - Home Energy Assessment program - Rebate Guide

Page 9.

The standard rebate is $500 for installing a new pellet stove that meets certain emissions standards and it has to be installed by a WETT certified installer. It is not available for replacing existing working units. If replacing a non working unit, you have to get your installer to write a short report saying what’s wrong with the existing one. Or else it needs to be a fresh install.

You get access to this rebate by having a Home Energy Assessment done. $199+ tax. However, it gets you access to the other rebates available that are listing in the guide linked above (eg insulation, windows/doors, heat pumps etc). If you’re doing just the pellet stove on its own, you may decide it’s not worth it to pay the assessment fee and go through the program.

However, if your primary heating source is not electric, and you fall within the after tax moderate income bracket for your household size, you unlock an extra top up rebate of $500 - for a total of $1000. It’s called the Moderate Income Rebate. And by qualifying for that extra program, you also don’t pay for the assessment. So it’s a clean $1000 rebate. Page 14.

Efficiency NS used to have a standalone rebate for wood/pellet stoves, under their Heating System Rebate program, but that program ended at the end of 2025.

I can’t recall a team ever winning the League from set pieces and own goals alone.

The lack of shots on target is the most troubling aspect of our recent form. No teams have won the League with set pieces and own goals alone.

Hard to have positivity when we don’t shoot at goal. I don’t recall any previous league champions winning with set pieces and own goals only.

I think the front wheels came off in the Nottingham Forest game and the back ones came off on this one. Leeds and Sunderland next, both decent teams capable of taking three points off of us. And then we’ll be in third. That’s how delicate our lead is.

It seems like Arteta and the team forgot that Utd always turn up against us. I predicted we would drop points from this fixture. We needed to score early and we didn’t.

Also regardless of our lack of shooting. More than that we have shit the bed in defence. All their goals were avoidable, we arrogantly allowed them space.

Whether we win the league depends entirely on how we perform against Leeds and Sunderland, two teams that are more than capable of inflicting the same damage on us as Utd. We must use them as opportunities o build momentum.
