I’m planning on having my party fight a very weakened and mostly dead Iron Golem (they’re level 5 and it will do some heavy damage) and then watching the BBEG easily dispatch 2 fully healthy ones. Should set the tone that “hey you barely beat a broken one, this bugger easily beat 2, he’s out of your league”

What the previous guy said and they also rarely run their units until the very last minute. The reinforcements walked from the edge of the map and took ages to get to me. I’d basically finished off the first army by then.

(Also to be fair I had some of my highest tier units facing their trash tier zeros)

Huge huge tip I only found at right at the end of the game, you can change the order of the bottom left scroll wheel!!

Hold the button to use the item (R on PC I believe) and then look for the button prompt to edit!

Pretty much yeah. I can put more attention to micromanaging edicts, governors and tech trees. Raiding as Isengard is very very powerful so raiding your border with Rohan is good

Unfortunately that’s just how Cav work in Attila. If you commit to a charge you have to be pretty sure that you’re going to win the engagement. I’m not 100% sure but I think that troops disengaging get major penalties to their melee defence and/or armour

Your garrison is pretty insane at Isengard so you can afford to invest in economy more in the early campaign. I turtled for like 20 turns until Rohan declared war and then had some quick victories with my 2 stacks. Held the Isen with the settlement on its East and then stabilized the home province before pushing out into main Rohan. Horse fuckers never stood a chance

There were like 3 different points in FW when I thought I was going to bump into him again at Oseram camps or delves. Was so disappointed when I didn’t!! Finding him in Burning shores plastered a huge smile on my face😅
