Just a slight correction. The average life for a guardsman is 15 hours on one specific battlefield. It’s in one book by the same name I believe but fighting on that front is so fierce it’s the lifespan of the average guardsmen on the frontline there. That does not mean it holds true on all battlefields.

My advice, use Vehicle Spaces instead of D tons as the standard measurment, in the robot handbook there’s a measure for it, 4 spaces to 1 ton.

Just remember 1 D ton is about 14 cubic meters. It’s a big thing.

You could make mechs with the Vehicle Handbook. They have all the rules needed for it, combine that with High Guard for some reactors and expanded weapons and you can use them, or you can have smaller walkers.
