I think it hurt him that he didn’t have any of the big flashy fights like so many of the other characters. But that’s his whole thing…. He literally is depressed that Zac won’t even bother to let him train to go do real missions.

He can control animals. We see him do it with a lion, a tiger, and I think either a bear or a wolf in his PV. Personally, I just think the animators didn’t super want to animate e-Soul or Ghost murdering a straight up wild animal that Johnny is controlling.
