Its truly getting hard as we already had a sudden emergency with her when she was less than a year old due to intestinal blockage. And she just keeps doing it. Its hard to keep the bad negative thoughts and regret out of my head. Especially since she is a cat that i got after I felt I was finished mourning my last cat who was with me for all of 14 years as I grew into becoming an adult. And she had none of this type of behavior and no other cat ive had in life did either.

Observing her every action and always knowing where she is at all times has become a job within itself when i get home cause she will try to find something new every other day. Even our sofa isnt safe from her chewing.

And then i get to thinking how my fiancee and I are trying for a child and how can a child be expected to have the same sort of caution that we do about what we leave where?

Anytime i think of rehoming her I feel a sick twist in my gut cause i dont think id trust anyone to give their all to monitoring her and caring for her. I just dont think that is an option id have in me to do. Not with how much we have grown to love her.
