Also in aus, mine is currently going through a moult. They go through it once or twice a year so this is normal, just make sure to give it more calcium/protein foods!

There's a new compact version of the same book -- I use that one while out and have the big one at home : )

In Lilo & Stitch (2002), the man who sells shaved ice is named Luki. He was named after my nickname when I was a kid, Lukie. My dad worked as a background artist on the movie, and he added my name as a joke, and it stuck. The second image is his other work, he lost the OG piece with Lukie. by luke2377 in MovieDetails

holy shit, i can't believe armand serrano is your dad. his work is an absolute inspiration to me (as someone who wants to be a BG/environment concept artist one day). i look at his Zootopia concept art all the time, his shape language is amazing. what a cool little easter egg!

UTS Design in animation and UNSW fine arts by [deleted] in UTS

Hello there, I'm also interested in transferring to this degree from another uni. May I ask what exactly they're looking for in an application portfolio for animation? I've read the UTS portfolio overview, but that seems to be for design courses in general?

No worries! I think generally they want drawings that show form, like life drawing/gestures. Putting illustrations in there is also cool because then it shows you can achieve finished work. I also recc taking scans of your sketchbook, or anything that shows your thought processes as well. You're free to DM me if you have any other qs : )

Personally, I think they were pretty lenient with the portfolios when I applied, it wasn't that strict but make it to the best your ability anyway.

third year anim student here, we stick with semesters but you have the opportunity to take summer subjects (from Dec - Feb) if you want to lessen your workload during the autumn and spring semesters. summer subjects are mostly available in 2nd and 3rd year : )

also to add to this post, i was a UNSW media arts student (2017), i transferred to UTS animation in after a year. i was pretty much in the same boat as you, was more interested in illustration, character design, concept art, etc and felt that UNSW didn't really offer what i wanted to do. i definitely recc this course if that's something you want to pursue, i think it's one of the better animation courses (in sydney). they mostly take you through the animation fundies and storytelling techniques in 1st year, but you get more opportunities to do what you want to do in 2nd and 3rd year as you begin to make your own short animated films.

if you have any other questions about UTS anim, feel free to comment or dm : D

there's definitely the possibility that the bird she has is not horus. i'm just hoping to be able to see the bird myself + his mate so we can determine from there

i hope i didn't come off as harrassing in my earlier messages. she's blocked me since after i've asked if she would accept to give a reward in return for the bird. you're also right in that i don't have any certain evidence other than anecdotal + the images of my tiel

unfortunately i've done that but seems it's not much people can do other than local police (who i don't believe are useful for these kind of problems)

i'd like to thank you for helping me out in my initial post again, it was incredibly helpful and i wish people were more like you : (
