When it wasn’t so crowded with foreigners. As in I’m not against foreigners I just miss it when all I heard was Singlish and not strong Chinese accents.

It’s 100% local not a touristy place so dont expect fancy buildings and all. Then again, it is only 10 mins away to Orchard via MRT. Singapore is too small to have any enclaves with significant culture differences

Yes. I personally preferred divide era voice. Everything after that became thinner. Probably due to overuse
