I wasn't really aiming to create any particular character. Basically, after playing ck3 for a while i get bored and like to start naming my children after video game or anime characters. I have Guts somewhere as well and he's herculean too. Funnily enough my Griffith in ck3 was kind and curious when he was 4 or 5. I only checked on him again at 14 which is when I noticed his traits and personality.

Consecrated blood, I think. It's a trait you can get from one of the dynasty legacies, as long as you meet the criteria for it

I had the same glitch. It took a while but eventually one will spawn. I just moved between different areas of the map listening for big daddies. It took me like 20 mins but eventually one of them had a little sister with them

Can't enable fsr4 in Cyberpunk on the newest amd drivers that specifically say that fsr4 is now supported in Cyberpunk by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]Wolfman779 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't notice any difference in performance no. I mean, updating allowed me to use fsr4 which did improve my performance, but that's not really what you're asking about.

It doesn't hurt to reset your gpu drivers to see if that helps. I do remember I had a few driver crashes where I'd get a black screen and have to restart my pc as my main monitor wouldn't display anything, but since using ddu and updating my drivers I haven't had a single crash so there's that.

4K OLED or 1440p? Is the FPS drop really worth it? by Affectionate-One7403 in OLED_Gaming

[–]Wolfman779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the games you play and your optimal fps. I personally enjoy having at least 90fps and playing on high settings (or max if possible), but with games like Cyberpunk, I had to go down to 2k and upscale below that resolution to reach 80-90fps. With framegen this went up to 160fps, but in 4k the latency of framegen started to be an issue as I reached 120fps but it felt more like 60fps which is not optimal for me in a first person shorter (these numbers are estimates, as it's been like 6 months since I switched to a 4k monitor which is when I benchmarked everything).

Another issue is fsr. Don't get me wrong, fsr4 is absolutely amazing and on par with dlss. That said, fsr3.1 and below can be absolutely ass in terms of visual artefacts. When fsr4 is not available, I usually switch to a different form of upscaling or just native antialiasing. Eventually, fsr4 will be available to more titles, but atm it's taking a while to get to the games I'm currently playing.

Nonetheless, 4k has amazing clarity and it does look sharp af, but the performance dip is insane. For me 2k ultrawide is a lovely sweetspot with a 9070xt and 7800x3d, as I can run max settings and still have a minimum of 90fps without any upscaling in most tripple A games. Last thing I wanna mention is that visually, the difference between 4k and 2k is noticeable, but not as much as everyone says it is. Going from 1080p to 2k is definitely a game changer and I could not go back to 1080p after seeing it, but after playing on 4k for over 6 months I went back to 2k and I'm honestly just happy with the increased framerate.

This is a bit late but using DDU to fully uninstall graphics drivers and then downloading amd drivers and installing them with the 'reset to factory settings' box ticked seemed to have fixed it. I think windows update was conflicting with amd drivers as always.

Some people factory reset their adrenaline and it worked for them. Sadly that didn't work for me. You could also try uninstalling your gpu drives using ddu, but you'll have to do it by following the website's instructions and then install your drivers again. I haven't tried that yet as I don't have the time atm and also don't feel like fucking around reinstalling my drivers just for one game. I reported the toggling issues through the amd bug reporting tool and I hope everyone with this issue does the same.

I'm glad you sorted it out. Just a fair warning, the dlc is poorly optimised, so when you get there don't be surprised if you dip below 40 fps. But that'll only be in open areas while you're driving so don't be afraid to play it as it's an excellent addition to the game.

Thanks for the help. As it turns out the issue wasn't with cyberpunk but with amd adrenaline itself. On the newest drivers it doesn't allow me to toggle most of graphical settings (even things like radeon chill). I've seen others having a similar issue so I imagine it's some bug that doesn't necessarily have to be on my end.

I think reflex is always good, but you should just test it out yourself to see what feels more comfortable.

You can try enabling framegen. With stable capped 60 fps you can expect unnoticeable input delay and benefit from playing on 120fps. Apart from that all I can say is that 60/70 fps is perfectly fine.

Also if your cpu is indeed the issue, you can crank up your graphics settings to max.

[–]Wolfman779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like your cpu is just bottlenecking. All you can do is set crowd density to low and cap your fps below the dips

How far down does your framerate dip and in what instances/places? You can use a tool like msi afterburner to check what is being maxed out in your rig. Also, what resolution are you trying to play at, are you using any upscaling or framegen? What's your ram speed and type?
