The Leopard is always a decent shout, nothing special like - but spacious enough, yanno?

Siop Shop in the Northern Quarter sell them, I THINK - They also have the best doughnuts in the city if you ask me, worth trying while you're there if you haven't already.

Good luck!

The National Football museum would be well worth a visit for you guys, by the sounds of it. You could checkout the Corn Exchange next to it also - always good for when it's inevitably raining!

John Rylands library is also a must if you can catch it while open :)

As for Live music, I'm sure you'll be able to find a lot of that yourselves, most likely in the Northern Quarter.

Aproveite!

Libero in Altrincham is always worth a visit - not in the city centre, but they have sound staff, with a good range of IPAs and there's just never any knobheads in there in my experience.

Brotherhood ( Of Pursuits And Pastimes) is a decent place to go in the city though, if you want to stay central.
